If you are financially successful, you have one GIGANTIC HOLE in your plan for retirement, and for making sure those you love and value, who depend upon you, can handle the consequences of you needing extended care-- if you have not created a specific plan to address this possibility in your overall plan. I have worked with individuals and their families, as well as their trusted advisor attorneys, investment counselors and accountants, for over twenty years. I bring up this issue because it is vital to address even if quite unpleasant to face.

My training is both as an elder law attorney and a long-term care insurance specialist, and the key to my advise is that it is not biased in favor of long-term care insurance or Medicaid Planning. We strive to find the most cost-effective but sensible solution to your possibility (but not CERTAINTY) of needing extended care, and protecting the things and people that are most important to you.

	FOREST GREEN FINANCIAL & INSURANCE SOLUTIONS, LLC was founded by me over ten (10) years ago to address extended care planning as an offshoot of my elder law practice. As an independent functioning body from my practice of law, FOREST GREEN FINANCIAL serves both law practice clients and non-law-practice clients seeking to address the extended care aspect of financial and estate planning. We have handled over 1000 cases since 2000. DAVID A. LaRUE was a long-time member of the NATIONAL ACADEMY of ELDER LAW ATTORNEYS (from 1996 to 2013), is certified in LONG-TERM CARE by the Corporation for Long-Term Care (since 2003), and joined the National Care Planning Council in 2014.
